Another year down the line, and I lose my job as a cashier at my local retail store. A month of unemployment, and my mind begins wandering to unusual ways to make money. VanDragon Studio was born.
Realizing that one man can only do short segments, not true full length stories. I have decided to switch to comic book production.
I also offer special effects photos from your own pictures. Would you like to see your favorite picture of your child with an angel, fairy or dragon? How about riding a rocketship?

VanDragon Studio is the culmination of a lifetime of nerdity. I grew up reading comic books and fantasy novels. In 1980 I was ecstatic I received a Dungeons and Dragons rulebook. It was the beginning of my storytelling. Also around this time I learned computer programming.
At that point my goal was to design arcade games, but the technology of the time was not equal to my imagination. I abandoned computers until the mid nineties. It took another 15 years for me to discover DAZ studio. This free program allows people of limited artistic talents, and strong artistic visions, to bring those visions to life. Another three years of playing with it, and I felt I was ready to begin animating.
